Governing Magazine changes Indiana’s Governors face from “Lean Republican” to “Tossup”.  While everyone wants to point at RFRA, Pence made several unwise moves that degraded confidence in him across the board long before RFRA.  Indiana may make it extremely difficult for the public to obtain police body camera footage.  Can we really trust that dirty cops in Indiana will not abuse their authority if they know it will take long and drawn our litigation to obtain footage of their illegal acts?  A Minnesota police officer loses his job after a videotape surfaces showing he threatened to break a teen’s legs.  Without the publicly available videotape, the dirty cop would have been free to lie and be given the benefit of the doubt because of his badge. As a part of self-serving #BackwardIN tradition, instead of making canned deer hunting illegal, legislators only want to make internet remote hunting and drugged deer hunting illegal within the enclosed area.
