Royals All-Star Gordon leaves game after awkward step (Yahoo Sports)
All-Star outfielder Alex Gordon left Kansas City’s game against Tampa Bay on Wednesday night with a strained left groin after taking an awkward step near the wall. Gordon was racing back on Logan Forsythe’s fly ball in the fourth inning when his left leg twisted gruesomely near the warning track. Gordon remained on the field as trainer Nick Kenney and manager Ned Yost jogged out from the dugout.
