S.C. Officials Remove Confederate Flag From State House Grounds

South Carolina officials lowered the Confederate battle flag for the last time on Friday at the State House grounds. The governor signed the bill on Thursday to remove the flag amid great fanfare. There was tremendous debate from lawmakers and residents about whether it should be removed.
