San Diego Padres Catcher to Rehab with TinCaps

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – San Diego Padres catcher Tim Federowicz is scheduled to rehab with the TinCaps at Parkview Field this week, beginning Sunday.
Federowicz (pronounced: FED-er-oh-vich) tore the meniscus in his right knee during Spring Training and had surgery in March. He caught a simulated bullpen for San Diego on Saturday afternoon in Texas, where the Padres are playing the Rangers, and flew to Fort Wayne afterward.
This marks the first time in Fort Wayne history that a San Diego Padres player will rehab with the TinCaps at Parkview Field.
