Colts’ Mathis won’t play until at least late September

Indianapolis Colts pass rusher Robert Mathis has vowed to be ready for the start of the regular season.
However, Colts owner Jim Irsay doesn’t feel that optimistic about Mathis’ chances of playing in the team’s season opener against the Buffalo Bills.
According to Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star, Irsay said the Colts aren’t expecting Mathis to play until “early October or late September.”
