Indianapolis Cathedral’s defense was impressive Friday night as the Irish won their first game competing in Class 6-A, 32-14, at Lawrence Central. The victory was the 200th for head coach Rick Streiff in 21 seasons leading the Fighting Irish (200-62 at Cathedral, 221-94 overall).

Cathedral scored on its first two possessions as Vincent Alerding kicked field goals from 32 and 34 yards respectively. …read more
