Governor Pence is, in fact, naive enough to pick Mitch Daniels’ “bag man” Eric Holcombe to be Lt. Governor.  Ironically, Holcomb’s mentor and best friend, Bill Oesterle, called him out on twitter for letting “ambition distract him from his principles”. Holcomb defended Pence’s “tone” on LGBT rights even though he had ridden the pro-LGBT rights wave against the Governor the year earlier. Since the Mitch Mafia ‘owns’ or has leveraged much of the corporate media in Indianapolis, it remains to be seen if Pence will be given a pass on many issues because Holcomb is now on the ticket. Morgan County Sheriff Robert “Spike” Downey drags his feet on a missing persons case because he is too busy settling scores. Thank god the DNR was called in with a K-9 unit to find Laurie Moore’s body in 15 minutes.
