Indians place Aviles on family medical emergency list again (Yahoo Sports)
The Cleveland Indians have placed infielder Mike Aviles on the family medical emergency list for the second time this season. Aviles’ 4-year-old daughter, Adriana, was diagnosed with leukemia in May and has been undergoing treatment at Cleveland Clinic. Aviles was at the hospital with his daughter Friday before arriving at Progressive Field, and he then left to return to the hospital before the start of that night’s game against Oakland.
