Sanders to Visit Purdue and Indiana Universities

BURLINGTON, Vt. — U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Wednesday will travel to Indiana. The Democratic Party presidential candidate will host rallies in West Lafayette and Bloomington. Sanders will discuss a wide range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, his plan to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, combating climate change and ensuring universal health care.

Doors Open at 9 a.m. West Lafayette Town Hall Meeting, Purdue University, Cordova Recreational Sports Center, Black and Gold Gyms 1-3, 355 S Martin Jischke Dr, West Lafayette
Information for the public: This is a ticketed event. Tickets are free and can be obtained here. General admission attendees may enter via Cordova Center’s eastern main doors. ADA entrance is located at the Center’s western doors adjacent to Rankin Track & Field. For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security. On-campus parking is available for a fee, carpooling is strongly encouraged. Public transportation to the event is available by taking city bus routes 13, 14, or 27 to the CoRec stop.

Information for the public: This is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served. General admission entrance located on west side of building, along E 7th St circle. For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security. Limited on-campus parking is available. Public transportation is encouraged.
