Out of all the mess of last Tuesday’s election results, it’s clear that Marion County actually did pretty much what it could for Democrats in the state of Indiana and locally to deliver a blue wave.
Democrats swept the Marion County seats where Republicans shockingly didn’t even bother to field a Coroner candidate and Dr. Lee Sloan will take over that critical role. Debbie Jenkins won a third term as Marion County Surveyor. Claudia Fuentes won a second go-around as Marion County Treasurer.
