Whitley County Democratic Party Responds to Zay’s Racist Remarks
Whitley County Democratic Party’s official statement on State Senator Andy Zay’s comments:
We are appalled that anyone, especially a sitting State Senator, would make claims that “racism isn’t real.”
Just last week, the leading Republican in the state, Governor Holcomb, announced his support for Hate Crime legislation in our state.
We ask that you please keep this in mind when casting your ballot this November. Do not let Senator Zay get in the way of bipartisan progress within Indiana.
Amanda Meier, Chair
Whitley County Democrats
