Appointed Senator Zay continues to dodge debates
Huntington, IN- Gary Snyder, Democratic candidate for Indiana State Senate District 17, has been working to hear the issues important to the people of District 17. During his time campaigning, he has had several voters inquire about a debate between himself and Andy Zay. To address the needs of voters, Gary sent a correspondence to Senator Zay on September 6, 2018 inviting him to a series of four debates throughout the 17th district. At this time, the Snyder campaign has received no response.
“While this is disappointing, it is not unexpected for Zay to hear the desires of the voters he was appointed to represent,” said Snyder. “I still hope to hear from Zay. A debate gives Hoosiers in District 17 the chance to hear from both of us and learn where we both stand on the issues important to this community.” added Snyder.
