Gary – Charlie Rosario, after pitching like a man who caught “RailCats’ Fever”, was the winning pitcher of record (8-3, 3.45 ERA) after throwing seven and two thirds solid innings without giving up an earned run. Jessie Snodgrass finished the game and preserved a RailCat victory.

Gary Southshore scored first with two runs in the bottom of the second as rookie Michael Schroeder scored on a wild pitch from Jeremy Strawn (2-6, 4.59 ERA).
