January 20, 2016 – General Motors defends manufacturing cars without airbags for Latin American countries.  Although we hear media reports of Indiana’s great “business climate” under Governors Mitch Daniels and Mike Pence, the Ft. Wayne Journal Gazette reports a study that Indiana has called from 37th to 39th in per capita income from 2004-2014.  The West Lafayette Redevelopment Commission puts the breaks on a joint Purdue – West Lafayette project because of a lack of transparency regarding the numbers and details during the bidding process, a trick Mitch Daniels excels at. While Senator Jim Merritt has to leave his job as an executive at the Indiana Railroad Co., the establishment media is silent on all the massive conflicts around them perpetrated by more powerful political figures in the Indiana House and Senate.
