Wabash County Democratic Party Responds to Zay’s Racist Comments

“We are sadden and bewildered by State Senator  Andy Zay’s Statements suggesting he believes” racism is not real. The biggest minority class in America is the white male.” The Statements are shallow, and ignorant, and simply unfortunate. Even though the statements were made 3 years ago, they show exactly how unattached Mr. Zay is from the Senate district in which he now represents. We condemn Mr. Zay’s comments as unproductive, and truly wrong. We encourage the voters in District 17 to send Mr. Zay a message in November that he’s wrong,  by voting him out.”
Chad Harris
Wabash County Democratic Chairman
